I am so thrilled to see a Round 2 for this swap!  I will definitely sign up...probably later tonight or by tomorrow.

Thanks, qazicat, for organizing.  Hope I can live up to the incredible craftiness and cleverness of Round 1.

I know!!  I feel the same way.

I'm swaying though... just 'cause I loved this swap so much.  The swap in general & my partner were awesome.  Who could ask for more than that?!

How was the gold applied? Is it clay or something? Looks like a cool technique.

it's actually thickly applied gold glitter but with the flash and the metal tin background it gives a nice effect

You can get sparkly clay though. I've seen it sold in Hobbycraft.
