With an example like using the word "dude," there is a lot you can do.  Even if you knew what the word meant to the recipient, you would be encouraged to interpret any way you want - what it means to you.  So "dude" could mean a California/surfer theme, or a western dude ranch theme, or a teenage skateboard theme.  Or you could go way off on a tangent, like making a Bart Simpson tin with the phrase "Don't have a cow, dude" (that's just a lame made-up example because I've only seen a handful of SImpons episodes.  So let's just pretend that's his catchphrase and leave it at that.)

I'm getting excited!  If we do this, can we have longer to complete them?  I've got a mini vacation next weekend, adn then I've got an upcoming sales meeting the third full week of March.  I'd hate to miss this, but it's looking like a busy month.

Next round, we will have more time to complete. So many people needed extensions that I guess two weekends wasn't enough. I don't think we'll start signups until this swap is totally completed, but be on the lookout! I'll post on this thread when signups begin, so you will all be notified!

I just received a wonderful RELAX tin from tantrum - it is so darn creative I can't believe it.  It had a tin and the black and white disk spins!  Yep!  Amazing.  There was also a little book that had a chocolate (past tense, gone...), some tea (in a cup now) and some Burt's Bees stuff.  YIPEE - it isn't working though, I am so excited by the tin and not relaxed!!!

i really like that one word idea, but my question would be.. am i allowed to pm my partner? i think polkadotgraffiti will tell you that i kept asking her all sorts of questions until i could figure out which theme/what to do.
