Great job, CHEAP THRILLS! Wow, these are looking good. Here's another beauty for the gallery. My theme was "hot" because I love cinnamon altoids. Here's what gingerquilts sent me:

The top is quilted, beaded, and gorgeous! The letters spell out "hot". I love its furry edge! Sorry that the photo does not seem to do it justice. Trust me, it's beautiful.

Here's the inside and the goodies:

You should know that gingerquilts and I were roommates in college, and all the inside images mean something (to us, anyway...it's all "hot things" from our misspent youth!) Inside, were a tiny little bottle of Tabasco, a hot lips keychain, some hot dog earrings, some killer glass chili pepper beads, and a red hot, which sadly is no longer with us.

gingerquilts, I absolutely love it! I will immediately fill this with some cinnamon altoids and put it in a place of honor in my car!  Smiley

Yay!  You finally got it!  I felt like my kids when they have a gift for me and make me open it early because they can't wait for me to have it!  I almost sent preview pics several times.  Racky, did you see the bottom?  You can give it a "haircut" if it gets too furry.  I already trimmed it a couple times.

That pink and black skeleton tin is adorable!  It is soo fun to see what everyone comes up with.

Thanks for the compliment amaryllisroze!  That means a lot coming from a great crafter like you!

I love the bottom (of course I saw it...I have checked it out several times!) I meant to mention it...it's a little mini movie poster of "Some like it hot!" You did great with the theme, ginga; I don't know why you were so worried!!

Is anyone else thinking that they really wouldn't mind having a reconned altoid tin collection?

PS Thanks, amaryllisroze...I'm glad you're signed up too!  Smiley

Here's crazy for ya - last week I sent two packages on Saturday - one to nushybum in England (it arrived) and the tin to goatgoddess (still waiting!).  Then goatgoddess sends to me Tuesday, and I receive hers today!  *sigh*  I'm crabby at the USPS, but I'm too happy with my new tin to dwell on it!!  I *really* hope there's good news of delivered tin very soon... if it doesn't turn up, I wanna be her swap angel, 'cause I've never flaked before - even accidentally - and I don't plan to start now!

goat-g chose my creative writing theme and made me a wonderful little package of inspiration!  I'll get pics soon!  THANK YOU!

I love all of these tins!  I really wanted to do this swap, but I needed to stay focused on the Amelie swap (visit our gallery!  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=79117.0).  PLEASE let there be a round 2!  If so, please notify me, 'cause I'm ready (I've been stockpiling Altoids tins since Xmas).
