THIS IS MY NEXT GOAL for prom.i want to make a one shoulder dress because im tired of my signature design and want to escape my typical stuff......so yeah would any one help me out to guess what in the world this material is.im having a hard time thinking that its chiffon but some kind of spandex looking fabric?ideas?

That dress is awesome!
The braid detail is really neat, too.

I think a Lycra or Spandex prom dress would be amazing - something really out of the ordinary Smiley  A lot like this dress!

Lightweight cotton jersey, would be my best guess, with a wee bit of lycra to help keep its shape... also probably cut on the bias to get that great draping effect.

I've got a similar dress at home (mine is bright aqua with white detail and asymetrical knee-high hem, tho).  I can check the tag to get the percentage of lycra to cotton and/or other fibres for ya, if it helps.
