I'm going to Chicago for a college interview, and I'm going to be spending some time there, so I'd like to know if there are any good LYSs in the area. And the closer it is to a tourist destination, the better. e_e;

Thanks for any help. Smiley

here's a list, you've got a lot to choose from.  I haven't been into the city in forever, so I don't know which are good or not, but there's likely to be one close to wherever you'll be Smiley

Wow! That's awesome, thanks for the list. Cheesy

Wah. I'm kinda envious. There's so many yarn stores in Chicago. I live inthe Bay Area, but my city has approximately two places to buy yarn: Michaels and Walmart. :| Lame.

I live in the suburbs and dont really feel like heading into the city for yarn. Has anybody been to Basket of Stitches in palatine, and know if its any good. I think thats the closest one to me.
