Hi crafters!

This is an official request for you to submit a project to the upcoming booklet called Simple Hair Accessories it will be published by the new site, http://CraftEntrepreneur.com

Craft Entrepreneur is an indie craft book publishing company that allows crafters to submit projects and the best ones will be published in books and booklets. Ideas must be your own original project or rendition of a traditional project. And it can't be copyrighted by someone else.

Craft Entrepreneur needs 10 various hair accessory projects, it could be anything, hair clips, headbands, bobbies, etc.  If your project is picked to be published in the booklet you will receive recognition as the author, your contact/website information in the booklet, and a percentage of royalties for every booklet sold while it is in print.

Spread the word of this new craft publishing community, if you know someone who has the talents and you think they should submit please tell them!

Hope to see your projects soon!

How simple does it have to be?  Are we assuming that the readers of said book have never made anything before, or have basic crafty skills, or are craftsters, or what?

Hmm..good question, I was thinking of crafts with simple designs more. I guess I should use a different word.
The level of craftiness can be from basic to hard. All are welcome as long as you can write your instructions clearly.

Also the crafts should be stylish, unique and fit  with the modern tastes of younger crafters 20-30's.

Thanks for asking!

Well, I have an idea, but I have no idea if the pattern is copyrighted or anything...

It's the pink and green kanzashi barette on page 22.  It's loosely based on the tutorial by beastbunny, but the multitude of different embellishment options are what make this a really creative project.  What do you think?

That so cute Leylia,

I'm pretty sure the pattern isn't copyrighted, Kanzashi flowers are over a hundred years old so I hear.

If you'd like to submit it to the site please see the submit form here,
http://www.craftentrepreneur.com/forms/use/SubmitCE/form1.html

Thanks,
Eleanor

Hello there again,  Smiley
I'm still looking for the following hair accessory tutorials. This is a unique oppurtunity for crafters to be published in the upcoming independent booklet 'Simple Hair Accessories' so far there are four crafters' projects accepted.

Tutorials Still needed

- Hair clip made with craft felt and accessories (ie: glitter, sequins, beads, etc.)
- A Kanzashi style hair flower clip
- Felted hair pin or bobbies
- Decorated silk hair flower
- Decorated barettes (beads, wire, other?)
- Decorated hair comb

You don't have to write out the wholes tute until it get accepted so just send in a short description and one pic of the finished project.
Submit your designs here http://www.craftentrepreneur.com/forms/use/SubmitCE/form1.html
All entries will be reviewed by selected crafters and picked for the booklet. It's going to be great! But only two weeks left to submit.
Thanks guys.
