Yes, I strung the pompoms together by tying them in the center onto a 36 inch length of yarn.  Then I made 2 tassels and tied them to the ends.  I have to wear it over my clothes though, since I made it from 100% wool yarn.  It itches me.  I am going to make some more, with soft yarns.  I'm thinking of doing the next one with 2 rows of smaller pompoms, side by side, in Spring colors.

Oops, here's the pic of the flip flop pompoms, made with fuzzy yarn and fibers.  I made these in about 6 colors, and wore them constantly until it got too cold here in Tulsa.

I love making pom poms, but never know what to do with them. I actually thought of making a pom pom scarf, in a similar stylee to the horrible rabbit fur ones that were in fashion this winter, but of course never got round to it! you have inspired me!
