My friend got married last month and I offered to make her a tiara.  Well she ended up buying one but she asked if I would make her a necklace.  She had this little crown thing that was attached to her mom's veil when she got married.  Her mom was going to throw it away so she asked if I could maybe use the beads from it to make her necklace.  I had enough to make a memory wire bracelet and little earrings too.  The earrings are attached to the clasp in the pic...

The way I do the tiaras is I get one of those plain metal headbands (i got these at the dollar store but they had stuff glued to them so i Googone-d them and got it all off)
Then I take my wire and wrap wrap wrap one end (not all the way at the end of the headband, but at the end of where I want beads to be) then i start putting beads on in whatever pattern and then I twist the wire.  Here are some really simple ones I've done.  I've looked online and some of the tiaras people make are crazy complicated.

I absolutely love the necklace!  how did you make it?  do you have a close up?  I think I may get the idea, but not exactly...  is it two chains and then pins through the open links and holding the beads?

I also love the second to last tiara.  it looks very organic and reminds me of a tree.  maybe I'll have to make one!

Kinda fuzzy but closer
Yeah, I took a head pin and put a bead on, then stuck it through one chain and then put a bead on then put it through the other chain and then put a bead on then made a loop or whatever and then added another bead on a head pin.  Smiley

Kayaredee, the wedding jewelry and tiaras look fantastic!

I'm getting married in about a month and I'm going to try making my own tiara. I understand about the wire, beads and all the wrapping (I think). Apart from that do you have any other advice?
