This is the first journal that I ever made.  It was for a swap so now that my partner has received, I can post some photos.

Made exactly like my other swap journal here.

The Pirate pinup girl swap journel.  Just what you need to keep track of the booty.  *giggle*
I printed out the pages on my computer and then bound the pages together with coptic stitch.
Originally I had planned to put a skull and cross bones iron on patch on the cover, but it has been missplaced.
So I made my own iron on patch by printing the picture on cloth that had been treated with
Bubble Jet Set 2000.

Enjoy the pirate goodness.

What a great swap organizer - even a place for the DC slip!  IMHO the pirate chick is better than a run-of-the-mill skull and crossed bones.  Where did you find the pic?

In a very round about way.

I went to this site http://www.thepinupfiles.com/ and did a search for pirates, which took me to the online store, which eventually took me to Amazon.  I then "looked inside the book" and screen captured the image.

Cyndiq,

Yes I used white homespun,  but you can use any fabric so long as it is 100% cotton or 100% silk.   I have sent you a PM with links of where you can buy Bubble Jest Set 2000 online, within Australia

Do you have a file or something with all the info that goes on the pages? I would love to try making/reconning myself one of these, but I'm not sure what info to put on.

I basically just put down the information that I like to keep track of.  You could change it.  The next swap journal I make I will alternate the position of the box on different pages.  I found after using my own swap journal for a while that it get very thick in the middle of the journal when you stick all those postage receipts.  I made the page layout using a word processing program.

Here is a scan of my personal swap journal.
