Swap name: We Love our Blythes!
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: Starpiste
Sign-up date range: February 14-24
Date to send item by: March 15

Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): nope!

Non-U.S. participants allowed? yup!

All ages allowed? yup!

Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that every participant meets these conditions: Of course!

Details of swap:
This will be primarily a clothes swap for our Blythes. You will be sending to at 2 other people and will be receiveing from two others.

Each parcel must include 2 items. Both must be wearable items but only one must be a main piece of clothing (skirt, pant, jacket, top). The other can be another main item but can also be an accessory (scarf, shoes, hair clips). You can put in more if you want (and are encouraged to) but these are the minimum requirements. Items for houses and rooms are optional.

You must post pictures of your girls with their names in this thread as an addition to the written questionnaire. You do not have to wait to know who your partner is to do this but DO NOT do this until you have sent me your questionnaire and I have sent you a "go ahead and post pics" PM back. If this is a problem for you let me know and we'll try to work something out.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

I have never seen a pullip live, are their clothes the same size as Blythes? If so I don't see a problem in opening it up to pullips too.

I'm kinda confused... do we PM you the questionnaire AND post it in the thread OR just post pics of our dolls in the thread an PM you the questionnaire?

Once you PM me the questionnaire I'll send you a PM back letting you know you meet the swapping criteria and that you can then post you pics. I'll make that clear in the oringinal post - I'm sorry it wasn't.

I'm so happy there is a Blythe swap! I was going to suggest it, but didn't want to be stuck organizing Smiley

P.S. I think Pullips are a slightly different size...I've seen knitting patterns that list a Blythe size and a Pullip size.

depending on which bodied pullip you have, some of them do wear the same size as blythe. the new type pullip bodies are smaller and more B-like. i have 4 pullips, but they're all the old style bodies, so they can't share clothes with the blythes. boo. Sad

i've just signed up, and boy, are the B's excited!! i'll post names and photos when i get the okay to do so....
