Carly Caron had a most wonderful idea – I love to garden and I know there must be some craftsters on here that do too! Each person harvests some seeds from a garden, whether it be your own or your mother's or your friend's garden (just make sure to get permission first!) and dry them out?  Or if you don’t know anyone with a garden you can borrow seeds for you could always buy some from the store. Then you can make your very own seed packet using this template:

I was going to open this up to everyone world wide - then remembered that our customs (and others) would not approve of seeds and such going international so pulled it back to just the US.

thanks! so how many packets are we sending? sorry to be such a pain in the ass. i don't even know if i'm joining.

Depends on how many sign up - right now there are only the two of us. <G> but if numbers were to get high then we could break it down into groups of 3 or 5 depending.  Great thing about seeds it doesn't take much <G>

We just had a ice storm over the weekend so doing some dreaming over spring will be just the ticket.

I have enough seeds from my garden for 4 packets ... if I had to make more than that then I'd have to pull out but ....
