I loved the tampon dispenser idea so much, I had to make one for myself! I've got a ton of wire mesh laying around, and my bathroom's in the theme of angels and saints.

Here's the finished product:

There's a little pocket-thing on the side for holding little o.b.'s (without applicators)

I used aluminum sheeting (Which was VERY difficult to bend without warping).  My boyfriend suggested I bend it over a 2 x 4, but it was still obnoxious.

The flowers are out of felt and beads, and I put little votive candle holders on the each side of the saint's picture.

The bottom of the dispenser looks like this:

and I made sure the opening was just big enough to let only one or two tampons slide out at once.

ps.  as I was making this, it occured to me that we might be able to use a rabbit trough feeder like this (if the 'pons aren't too wide):

it would be so easy to decorate/paint, what-not.

what an awesommeeee idea.  It's so cute, I think i havee to make one for the new apartment!  Wooden one.  I'll woodburn some little black bears and loons on it, so the boyfriend won't mind it too terribly much.  The tealight-holders were the best idea.

 Grin Kudos.
