This is my first post here, I just started putting my crafts on the web and craftster is a great place for more ideas!

Watermelon Bombe

I made this watermelon bombe by lining a metal bowl with plastic wrap, then adding a 1/2 thick layer of lime sherbet, then a 1/4" thick of vanilla ice cream.

Then I took 3 pints of raspberry sorbet and mixed it with mini chocolate chips.

When you unmold the bombe and cut it, it looks like watermelon!

Oooh, that is so cool! It reminds me of retro desserts which I love to bits! I love food that's made to look like other food. Smiley

the watermelon looked so good that i printed it out and made it and it was so good i used watermelon flavored sorbet!mmmmm! Cheesy[/glow][/glow]
