Hey People!! ok, i know this is a bit out there and crazy but i figger ill give it a go anyhow. For a crafty activity I would like heaps of bus or subway tickets or anything like the ones shown below, or any other sorts. What i need is for you to send them to me. I would like to include some tickets from other countrys. (I live in Australia)

If you do send me your bus tickets I will send you back a personal letter reply with a surprise  Shocked That surprise will depend upon the amout of tickects you send. The more you send me the bigger the surprise. Consider it a cheap lucky dip!! and who knows. perhaps some of us will become pen pals?? You could include a letter if you wish.

you can email me at missakemp@hotmail.com please dont be shy!

or you can send just send them to me straight away!

pm me for the address

I will edit this post when i no longer need any. Thank you for your time  Smiley

What're you gonna do with em?  I'm no help, I collect them too, but have no idea what to do with them.  I'm from Australia too ... I have about a thousand of them.

So are we talking card tickets or the ones off of the paper reels? Not that I have many, but I would start collecting the few I get for you if thats what you want.

In a lot of cities in the US you either don't get a ticket at all (you just put money in a box when you get on), the driver tears your ticket (if it's a small town with a small route), or your ticket goes into a machine and stays there. And our bus tickets (at least in NC) aren't nearly as interesting as those you've shown- they're tiny little one color things that don't even say "bus ticket" or anything like that. We are so boring here... haha.
I bet you could get some really cool ones from Japan. Unless they use a card system now.. ? How about a Japanese penpal site??   Smiley

in boston you also put you money in the box or have a monthly pass. but those are like gold because you turn them in at the end of the rear for reimbursement from car insurance.

wait, do you mean plastic type cards or paper type cards?  the tranfers from the bus I'm always on (in Michigan) gives paper cards, the size of a credit card, and you swipe them and throw them in a little trash basket if you don't want to keep them.

Haha here in Oregon we have crappy newsprintish tickets.  Small and flimsy.

Seriously, boring money, boring bus tickets... at least the U.S. has spiced things up a bit with the new $20's.  It'd be cool to have ones in all different languages.  The only problem is... how do you get them if you don't speak the language to ask for them?  Funny.

Maybe on the black market.   Tongue

Hi!
I'm from Canada and I have lots of bus transfers. They are made of thin paper and they say "London Transit" and the time and date. Would you be interested? We also have actual tickets which are much smaller and thicker but they are what I use to get around town! (and they cost an arm and a leg)

You can e-mail me at sakimahd@hotmail.com if you are interested!
