Details of swap:
Long before my time as a craftster, there was a swap called the True Colors Swap. This is the second round, only it’s been changed a little bit.
Here’s the dilly-yo.
In order to complete this swap, you will need to shoot a series of pictures in one color of your partners choosing as well as one set of rainbow pictures. This sounds confusing, but I’ll explain it all later.
On your sign-up sheet, designate two or three colors of pictures that you would like to receive pictures of.
EXAMPLE: I WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE EITHER RED, BLUE OR BLACK PICTURES.
When sign-ups end, you will receive two partners (so we will be in groups of three)
EXAMPLE:
AMERICANDEMOCKRACY (RED, BLUE, BLACK)
ITSYBITSYSPIDER (ORANGE, GREEN, GRAY)
LILBOWPEEP (PINK, RED AND PURPLE)
Then, all of us will send each other pms until we figure out who is claiming whom.
EXAMPLE CONTINUED.
SO, THIS IS IT ALL FIGURED OUT.
AMERICANDEMOCKRACY WILL SEND ORANGE, GREEN OR GRAY PICTURES TO ITSYBITSYSPIDER, WHO WILL SEND PINK, RED OR PURPLE PICTURES TO LILBOWPEEP WHO WILL SEND RED, BLUE OR BLACK PICTURES TO AMERICANDEMOCKRACY. Make sense? No? It’s okay. I’m here to mess you up even more.
AND EVEN MORE EXAMPLE
AMERICANDEMOCKRACY TAKES 20(OR SO, BUT NO MORE THAN THIRTY) PICTURES THAT ALL FEAUTURE THE COLOR GRAY AND SENDS THEM TO ITSYBITSY SPIDER (AND SO ON AND SO FORTH)
But wait! I’m still not done.
Each person will also shoot a series of rainbow pictures- this means 5-7 pictures of each of the rainbow colors- red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple and send that to the other person in their group.
In chart form, that means that…
AMERICANDEMOCKRACY sends 20 gray pictures to ITSYBITSYSPIDER and 20 rainbow pictures to LILBOWPEEP. (and so on and so forth).
