Swap name: True Colors/Photo Swappy 2
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: americandemockracy
Sign-up date range: Feb 12-20 or until we hit 21 people
Date to send item by: March 31

Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): Under twenty one, in multiples of three.

Non-U.S. participants allowed? Yes.

All ages allowed? Or 18+? All ages, but under 16, please ask your parents.

Organizer is aware of current list of "suspended traders"
list and will not allow those members to participate: Heck yea!

Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that every participant meets these conditions: Yep!

Details of swap:
Long before my time as a craftster, there was a swap called the True Colors Swap. This is the second round, only its been changed a little bit.

Heres the dilly-yo.

In order to complete this swap, you will need to shoot a series of pictures in one color of your partners choosing as well as one set of rainbow pictures. This sounds confusing, but Ill explain it all later.

On your sign-up sheet, designate two or three colors of pictures that you would like to receive pictures of.

EXAMPLE: I WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE EITHER RED, BLUE OR BLACK PICTURES.

When sign-ups end, you will receive two partners (so we will be in groups of three)

EXAMPLE:
AMERICANDEMOCKRACY (RED, BLUE, BLACK)
ITSYBITSYSPIDER (ORANGE, GREEN, GRAY)
LILBOWPEEP (PINK, RED AND PURPLE)

Then, all of us will send each other pms until we figure out who is claiming whom.

EXAMPLE CONTINUED.
SO, THIS IS IT ALL FIGURED OUT.
AMERICANDEMOCKRACY WILL SEND ORANGE, GREEN OR GRAY PICTURES TO ITSYBITSYSPIDER, WHO WILL SEND PINK, RED OR PURPLE PICTURES TO LILBOWPEEP WHO WILL SEND RED, BLUE OR BLACK PICTURES TO AMERICANDEMOCKRACY. Make sense? No? Its okay. Im here to mess you up even more.

AND EVEN MORE EXAMPLE
AMERICANDEMOCKRACY TAKES 20(OR SO, BUT NO MORE THAN THIRTY) PICTURES THAT ALL FEAUTURE THE COLOR GRAY AND SENDS THEM TO ITSYBITSY SPIDER (AND SO ON AND SO FORTH)
But wait! Im still not done.
Each person will also shoot a series of rainbow pictures- this means 5-7 pictures of each of the rainbow colors- red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple and send that to the other person in their group.

In chart form, that means that

AMERICANDEMOCKRACY sends 20 gray pictures to ITSYBITSYSPIDER and 20 rainbow pictures to LILBOWPEEP. (and so on and so forth).

Now that Ive thoroughly confused everyone, please, feel free to ask questions!

So... the rainbow pics-- we only have to send 20, right?  Because the description of what rainbow pics are makes it sound like we need to take 30 minimum.

It's more thirty rainbow pictures. But you can do four a piece, if you'd like.

Do we have to use film and have them developed, or can we use digital and print them on photo paper?

Last time, we could use digital cameras, but we still had to have them printed at a photo developer (like CVS or whatever) so that they were film-quality prints.  This was so that everyone sent and received comparable quality photos, regardless of whether they used film or digital cameras.

That sounds right. I'd get your pictures printed at wally-world or CVS- it's cheaper than a home printer, especially a photo one, and the pictures are, in general, better quality.

The picture colors are a color, not tinted.

So, a stop sign would be red. An apple is red. My friend's hair is bright red.
