When do you have the time!!! You make some of the most awesome stuff mommabear! I love this, I want one, I need this dress! I would love a pattern! I am about the same shape and LOVE to wear dressses ( actually I love to wear clothes I LOVE!) anyway, the color; stunning! It is really important to know your colors... I don't really know mine and it shows!

Golly, thanks ladies, Like I said my mom did most of the sewing but she said that the skirt was super easy, hee hee I am making one similar today so I can let you know.  Anyway, I have modified the post to include the pattern numbers etc.

Oh, and every woman, should at least once in her life get a color analysis done.  That way if nothing else and you are having a slumpy day, not feeling so hot about yourself, you just put on something that you KNOW is your color and you will get lots of compliments, just by the mere fact that it is the right color, you will glow, and then you will feel better!!!

So two important tips we have come up with here
1.  Get the proper bra size
2.  Get a color analysis

I have always wanted to have a color analysis done - by a pro. I have read alot on the topic in magazines and books, but I get drastically different results each time.
Mommabear - where is a good source for having one done or a good book?
I had a bra fitting about a year ago after I had stopped nursing my last child... very sad day indeed... I had shrunk considerably. It was a very surprising experience and I am all the better for it. What a difference a bra makes.
The other issue - shoes. Shoes that are the right size, believe it or not. Alot of women wear shoes that are too small. (My husband is in "shoe business") He says that everyone really needs to go to a good shoe store to be properly measured.

I am sorry Kitschy, it has been years since I got mine done so I cannot give you any referals.  As for books you might just try looking at amazon and see what comes up.  Does anyone else know where you go for good color analysis?

Wow, that colour is fabulous and it looks absolutely gorgeous on you!  I agree, the colours we like are not always the colours that look best on us.  But that colour sure looks great on you!
