i started making this blanket months ago, and then forgot about it....

i originally saw it here....  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=27667.0
but the pattern is from here...  http://www.angelfire.com/va3/heartfeltangels/littlestarafghan.html

so i finally finished it.  it's a little (ok, a lot) wonky right now, i have to wash and block it still... also, it's super soft cause it's redheart baby soft...  and, it's super wonky because i kept gradually switching to larger hooks as i got farther out (probably not the best idea)  but here it is!   

and i still don't know how to do a double chain! 




and here's a shot of the detail... ignore that one really big hole....this was my first time crocheting

thank you guys!  i have to tell you, i was super scared to try it...i'd tried to crochet before, and could never get the hang of it...so i figured if i was going to make something, i would make something that looked awesome!
