So this is my first ever thread so I hope I do it all right!! I have been stalking around Craftster for awhile and I found some inspirational ideas. I love the skirts and the first thing I did was run out and make a "necktie skirt" which my teenage daughter is very much in love with.

Thus my first pics my "necktie skirt"

Then one afternoon I was just thinking about other "cool" skirts I could make and I thought about their jeans that are too short for them, but still fit. And this is what I came up with.

Anyway, I thought I would share. I could make a tutorial of the second one if anyone's interested, but it's really easy to make. Simple instructions would do.

Hope I did all this right and you like them,

WOW!! I love the 2nd skirt tons! It's just so different, very creative, I'm suprised I haven't seen other skirts like that on this site, with just so much added material to it. Way cool!

I really like the color scheme you had in the tie skirt. And hope you're surviving your first post so far.  Wink

Those are really good! Do you have a picture of the green skirt on someone? I bet it looks pretty neat. Smiley

Yes, they're real and they love to sit there next to each other and stare out the front door. Oh and we have another one too Smiley

I'm going to take a picture with my daughter wearing the green one as soon as I can get the lazy girl to put it on Smiley

I'll try and post it later today. Thanks for all your compliments. I found another pair of blue jean shorts that I'm dying to make into a skirt now. I'm trying to decide which scrape of material to use.
