I'll get this party started w/ my photos:

From aeronberry, I got some beautiful cotton fabric...one yard of the background and 1/2 yd of the purple. I think I am going to immediately make these into a purse! Thank you! They're lovely!



And from raindrops, I got this wonderful chiffon-y, rayon-y, drape-y piece of fabric that caused me to run through the house, floating it behind me singing, "I feel pretty! Oh so pretty!" Now I have to *make* it into something. She sent 2 yds (wow!) So perhaps a skirt!



She also sent me a bonus piece... will wonders never cease? This looks like a nice standard toile, but (hold onto your hats here), it's actually super-soft flannel!! This 1yd piece might become a backing for a baby quilt. It's sooo soft.

I KNOW!  That brocade on the top left is absolutely stunning!  I have NO idea what I'll use it for, but I'm thinking something that involves the upper portion of my body, snug and showing a lot of skin!  The butterflies are so hot for one of my daughter's quilts, and so are the hearts.  I really needed some dark or black fabrics to anchor everything else that's going on.  And the other three scraps are so cute!  I have a feeling they'll be incorporated into garments for Kit in some fashion or another, maybe some pocket linings for knitted coats, or a handbag.  (She's three, so she's starting to really dig bags.  Very grown up, you know.)

And the fabric that Snacker sent me... I was stunned by it's beauty!  Seriously!  It's so hot!  I don't know yet what it will be, but whatever it turns into will be something I adore.  I might have to just stretch it on a frame, maybe add some embroidered embellishments and call it artwork, hang it on my wall.  (Home's these days do not have near enough fabric panels as art!  Oh how I long for the 60's.)  It actually coordinates quite well with the other artwork in my living room.  It even has the same colors as Patrick Nagel's Sushi Girl.

Just a hint, it says "excuslively for JOANN stores" on the edge. 

It is so wonderful that I don't even know exactly what I want to use it for yet, but I am planning on taking it over to michaels this afternoon (where I still have some gift certificate!) and buying some beads, embroidery thread and maybe some sequins that match.  I can't wait to do some embroidery on this puppy.  Maybe just one "wheel" design.  I don't even know.  I just want to do it so bad!  What scares me a little (because I didn't actually know I was quite this vintage-funky) is that I actually really might embroidery on it, and then stretch it and hang it as a piece of artwork on my wall.  The long way.  Sort of asian in inspiration.  I even know where it would fit.  It really does match the other artwork on my walls.  Sushi Girl (actually, she is untitled, I think, but fondly refered to as Sushi Girl, but is really Commemorative #3) has the same light pink / salmon color on her shirt, the yellow and red on her headband match, and her packground is exactly the same color as the background on this.  And it is also the same color as my walls.  And the dark red matches my shears.  It really would fit right in as a piece of art.  Am I completely crazy??

  oh wow some great fabrics! gosh i wish i had waited to do my shopping until after seeing some of these...i hope i did ok by my great partners.

great cotton prints from seaofstars. love that paisely!! gorgeous printed & embroidered piece from tenika (the redish flowers are embroidered and the rest are printed on making a nice texture). and some really neat cord fabric from polkadotgraffiti.
