I've wanted to make one as well, (among other things)  so lets do it.  Which tutorial are you going to follow?

I'll make one with you (I've done one).

That tute will work if you put a stretchy waist band on your skirt but if you want one without it, that tute will you give you an inner circle (the part that fits your hips) that's way too big.

I've printed off that tutorial and I'm ready to go - just need to clear a space on my floor to actually cut the fabric out!

I have got me some tulle, so I'd love to give a circle skirt a try! Do you think it would work if I cut up an old t-shirt to use for the stretchy fabric bit?

Oh this is perfect!! I tried making that circle skirt, but I was too enrvous to make a cut into my rpecious fabris until I knew my math was right. Needless to say, I never finished it. Lol

This is another great circle tute: (it's the one I started with)

A t-shirt would work great for the stretchy part.

That tute has the right formula for cutting the hole, if you want the top to fit snugger. Is snugger a word?

Here's the one I made for my daughter.

I'm going to do an adult version this time.

Count me in on this one, but a kid's version. I have bunch of fabric I've been trying to figure out what to do with. one_daddio, I love your daughter's skirt! I love the picture of her jamming out!

When will this start and end? I'm starting mine today!

Will anyone be making this with a ridged self-fabric waistband?

I had a dance skirt when I was about that high which had three buttons for the side fastening - one on the waistband and two on the skirt portion.  I was hoping to be able to recreate this, although it might take some experimentation!
