I got Rory_one's package yesterday!  She made me two delicous candles, one smells of chocolate - the other of lemons - both are on my list of 5 things I like.

I will post pictures soon.  Merci Rory_one!

I received from tickle_me_ally today!  Wow!  She is *so* creative! She made a wall hanging with a mirror that has Hipolito's quote "Without you, today's emotions would be the scurf of yesterday's." and a fantastic decoupaged collage hat that she made to look like the one the girl is wearing in the Renoir painting!  Here are some pictures, but they don't do justice to her awesome projects!

I love everything, Ally.  Thank you so much!   Kiss

Heh, I'm glad you like everything. The hat was pretty time consuming, but not that bad, considering I jacked most of the stuff to make it from my art teacher. The film strip is a part of this weird old slideshow thing about sculpting the human form. I was looking at it, and there were some definite money shots. So ... I didn't edit for content, and I apologize if you one day are surprised by some guy's package or something, that was not my intent!

Debbies only get respect in the knitting world.  How unfair is that?

Because Poe wrote on both of them.

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?

You know I was going to ask you about the film, because even though I couldn't clearly makeout what was on the negatives I thought I detected a naked body - lol!  Now it makes sense!   Grin

wow...that hat is fantastic....did you embellish an existing one or create it "from scratch"?

I made it out of paper mache. I used some dumb plastic leprechaun hat as the base, coated it in vaseline for easy removal, and just paper mached over that. Then I kind of had to cut parts off mess around a little to make it look normal, but it worked, so hey.

hubyoed has confirmed she received from me and i am too anxious to wait for her to post photos! these are taken with my camera phone so they may not be great, hopefully she can post better pictures later.

i lined a large red canvas bag with some red and wt. polkadot fabric (did you know this is nearly impossible to find? i went to 4 different stores before i found it!) - amelie wears mostly red in the movie but the only print she ever wears is polka dots! she also has a red and white polka dot umbrella and that was what inspired me.

and i made her a photobook like nino's - it's covered in green and blue paisley fabric with some trimmings. i had been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to do the book when i by chance found a book of postcards from Chronicle Books with actual photo booth images...so effing RAD. it was perfect and perfect timing as well.

even a little piece of me!:

hubbyoed has a 2nd small package coming her way as well, it's just some extra fun.
