I'm getting a site for my jewellery and accessories designed for me by my brother and I'd like the chance to sell some of it online but I'm completely clueless when it comes to these things.
I'm based in Australia (if that helps)
How much do you charge for PPH? Included in the price or added on? How do you accept payments? Do you need a special account to be able to take credit card payments? With cheques and money orders (whatever they are), do you send the product then expect payment or expect payment first?

Basically I want to know how you go about getting paid and sending your product out so that everyone is happy and what's the simplest way to do this?

Thanks!
I will post links when it's made!

There is a pretty great guide to accepting credit card payments as part of the Mal's e-cart guide at http://mals-e.com/  Basically, you need a merchant account unless you use a processor like PayPal.

Always get paid first, and always ship through a trackable method. For shipping and handling charges, I don't have a brilliant system and will let somebody else answer as I suspect there is one of those "add x percent" formulas.
