god, here I am in the middle of class....checking out craftster....like any craftster addict does. And this beautiful swap made me gasp out loud. lol

Last spring my boyfriend's mom flew out to visit us at college (well, a visit for a reason but anyways lol).....she noticed I had this Depp picture on my wall and she's like "What are you doing with pictures of my boyfriend!?" lol and then she went on to explain to me how she gets dressed in the morning...."I think, what if I ran into Johnny today. I would want to be wearing something gorgeous. And he'll fall maddly in love with me."
  lol I love her.

But anyways....lol I'm very interested in the swap....I can't sign up yet though....I'll have to wait until closer to he due date to be sure I'll have money by the send by date.
lol So I'm on stand by.....I"ll be back I'm sure. <3

OK, you got me.  I have been trying to slow down on swaps because I have some things that I want to do for my own home but my kids and I are such Depp fans I cannot resist.  I imagine that they will be piping in as well.  So I am not signing up yet because I need to think on what I might like to recieve and think of ideas for what I might like to make.

I mean our house is like my daughter said that when Johnny Depp shows up at our door and says "what have you got of me" she can show him all the stuff.  That is one of those you had to be there moments to get how funny it was when she did that.

So I am in, but not officially yet.

So I was thinking about what kind of project I would like to give or recieve and one of the ideas that I finally got was a Johnny Depp, swap keeping track of, journal.  I have been wanting a journal like that anyway, to keep track of swaps, I use a Pirates of the Carribean spiral right now, but a cute little journal with pages like Pinkmafia made specifically designed for swap information but with a different picture of Johnny Depp on each page would be totally awsome and I think that would be considered a big project becasue it is all about the time and effort spent, not about the size.

My daughter made her and her sisters some really cute shirts with Johnny iron ons.

Oh, and I got this really geeky professorish looking mens sweater, grey button up you know, at a clothing bank and it is so nerdy and I love it and it fits me and I have been thinking about ironing on a picture of Johnny Depp from Secret Windows when he has his glasses on, on the back of the sweater.  It is so nerdy it is cool.

I also just watched Corpse Bride last night and surely that movie offers a lot of possibilities.  What about dolls made of the main characters?

Or even just a poster board sized collage of all the Johnny Depp movies, etc.  What do you think are some ideas coming?

I also have a postcard that I got of Johnny and Orlando from Pirates, that I bought at Hot Topic,  and I framed it with a cheap dollor store frame that is gold and it looks really cool.  I thought that it might be neat with a cheap frame with piraty stuff glued all around the frame or decopauged with pirate images.

Those are some really great ideas mommabear19! I like the idea of a craft swap journal, that would be really handy!

A big project is based on time and effort not the size! if you embroider something that could be considered a big project because it's time consuming.  small would be a bookmark or something.

Johnny Depp... so ta-hay-sty.  I haven't seen all of his movies yet...  but I will.  I really love his character in Benny and Joon.  That story is kinda close to my own!
Corpse Bride was a disappointing movie.  I thought the stop-motion was great, but the ending was blah.  Pirates of the Caribbean was alright, but a lot of ppl jumped on Johnny Depp then and he's been around for a long time making grips of good movies way before that one.  Eh.
I think I can do this one.  I'm also in a bunch of swaps, but the ongoing ones don't really count (like wishlist swap, etc.).

yeah.. im sorta like that. but i wasnt all "oh my god *drools*" like alot people. honestly i don't think hes as hot as people say he is. *sorry* i feel bad bc i dont no what he really looks like. the first movie i ever saw him in was freddy. (at the time i didnt no thats who he was) but the movie i think hes very hot in  charley and the choclate factory. i mean really hot. does he really look like that in real life? or does he look like the the secret window chacter? ok this might seem stupid questions. im tired and im just mumbling..and when i saw that i felt semi bad..bc i guess im like that? :/
