Hi everyone!

I'm starting a big bad baby (or in my case, boyfriend) blanket-along. Anyone knitting or wanting to start knitting the BBBB from SNB can join up and keep up to date with other people knitting the same thing.  Grin Wonderful!

If you are interested please email me at writerjlb@hotmail.com! Or visit my blog (http://syfph.blogspot.com) and leave me a comment under the "BBBBalong" entry.

EH, I'm just eeking through it myself. I've been working on it for a month (well I'm not sure you could really say I've been working on it...) and I'm only on row 12.
It seems the others in the knitalong are the same way, noone's getting anywhere.
Good luck!

LOL girlfriday... SO glad to hear i'm not the only one in this boat!  i am such a nit-wit (or knit-wit as the case may be) and i cast on an extra 20 stitches when i started b/c it "didn't look big enough" to me.

hahahaha.  joke's on me!!!

one thing about this project though, i 'm so bored with it it's forced me to start 2 other projects that i really like.  lol..

GOOD LUCK girlfriday and all!

Could I join this, please?  I just found this site a little earlier today.  Also, could I cheat and crochet the afghan instead?  You see, I showed my FWB this crocheted afghan with Dallas Cowboys stars on it and he said he would like that if I made it for him.  Just tagging along with you guys, er ... girls (sorry) while you worked on yours would help to keep me focused on the project.  Otherwise I could wind up doing my AD/HD thing and wind up having 3 or 4 projects started.  Wait, I already have 3 or 4 projects started.  Oops.   Grin

Actually it seems to sort of have gone AWOL on us. Noone is giving updates or anything. Sorry... I guess we aren't a bbbbalong anymore.

Sigh....

I started working on the BBBB a while ago because my sister in law is expecting in October.  I'm finding it SO SO SO boring!!!!  I mean, I love the way it looks and that's why I'm making it, but it's hard to keep my attentin on it for any longer than 5 minutes.  Augh.  I'm about 3/4 of the way done, and I guess I'll just have to buckle down and finish it so that I can move on to more interesting knitting projects:-)

I'm sorry to hear so many of you are findng the BBB boring.  It makes me wonder what's wrong with me since I managed to complete two of these without any issues! Smiley  I think it's a good project for folks (llike me) who are new to knitting.  I learned a lot about keeping consistent sticth tension and certainly mastered my knits and purls!

Good luck to you all!
