Hey there!

Does anyone want to do an ATC craft-along? We can make the minimum of 2 ATCs a week, and there'll be a theme each month. So you should be making roughly 8 (or more) ATCs a month to a certain theme. Eight's a nice number for a set, right?

Anyone up for it? If not, I'll just craft all on my lonesome.

NOTE: As of September I will no longer be running this ATC-Along. Therefore it will be up to you, the participants, to decide upon a theme. And if you can't agree, just post any old cards as long as it gets you making.

---Anushka

Themes

  • February - Chance
  • March - Take Off
  • April - God
  • May - Experiment
  • June - Leap
  • July - Introduce
  • August - Baggage

Remember - post your ATCs every Friday!  Cheesy

In addition, if you missed a month and liked the theme, or just have a sudden burst of late inspiration for the current month's theme, feel free to post your cards. Just make it clear what theme your cards are following.

Don't forget than anyone can join anytime.

And don't nag me if I forget to post themes.

xx nush

Maybe I'm incredibly slow but what is an 'ATC'?

Count me in, I've been slow on these recently so this will be a good incentive to keep them up!

ATC's - Artist Trading Cards.
There's a post explaining them somewhere on here if I can find it...

This website does a great job of explaining them.

I would be interested in this.  I need to get my positive swap note but that should happen in a couple of days.

I'd be really interested if this was an on-going swap, kind of a business-card exchange!

I am also interested in the ATC craftalong.  However, is this a swap?  I don't know that my artisitic abilities are up to the quality I would like.  I don't mind posting, I am just a little hesitant trading.  I would like to give this a whirl though. Sounds exciting to me!  Smiley

Oh, yeah, my bad.  I thought this was a swap.

I'd do a swap if anyone was interested!  I'd love to collect examples of different artistic styles and mediums.

Nope, this isn't a swap!

OK. On the last Friday of each month I'll post a new theme. Then, every Friday, you'll post however many ATCs you've made to that theme. (Try and make two.)

If you want to trade your ATCs (after all, they're artist's trading cards), you'll have to PM separately, and do it personally. (Maybe when you post your craftiness of the week, you could say whether they're up for trade?)

I've already thought of a theme for the remains of February; I'll post it on Friday, then we've got two ATCs to make by the following Friday.

 Grin Yay!
