I have this pair of shoes that I've had for over ten years now (ack! I feel old!) and they're starting to show some wear.  They're my absolute favorite shoes, and I need to repair them, Aerosole doesn't make them anymore.  They look somewhat like the pic below (construction is close enough), and the part where the arrow is pointing is what's coming apart.  I literally have holes under my toes and balls of my feet, and I want to repair/replace it somehow so I can keep wearing them.

Does anyone know how I can do this?  Or maybe some resources online to find out how?  I can't seem to find anything on this, and the rest of the shoes are good, just the insoles need to be helped.  It's such a waste to throw them out, I can't bring myself to do that.

Anyone? Huh

I know it goes against DIY, but you could try a shoe repair place...I'm a strong believer in them!

Yeah, that's kind of my last resort because of funds.  I figured if anyone knew how to do it well, I'd be willing to put in the time Smiley  I do have the name of a good cobbler near me if it comes to that, I just will have to wait longer Wink
