I'm looking for a tut or a pattern or something for one of those baby cooties... the thingy you put in the cart so the baby doesn't slobber over everything... anyone know where I can find one?

A baby cart cover?

Uhm... they're not so baby doesn;t "slobber" over everything, they're to protect the baby from the germs everyone else leaves on the cart.

I haven't had any caffeine... yet. I'm dragging.  I did LOVE the seat cover a friend made for my youngest. It was awesome ~ folded up into a bag attached to the back, had pockets for toys, my cellphone, etc., and even included a matching pillow. And it wasn't in a "baby print" either ~ it was a jaguar print on one side (really similar to leopard, which is my fav), and solid black on the other.

If you're looking for a paper pattern, I got a great one here:

It's pretty easy to make one (with or without a hard-copy pattern), and the nice thing is that since the handle is covered, your hands are kept off the germs, too!  Here's mine that I made from the aforementioned pattern, leaving off some of the bells and whistles (like a snack pocket...):

Oh, and the fabric just looks quilted- I didn't actually quilt the thing.  Roll Eyes

You can't see it in the pics, but there are slits in the back so the seat belt thingy can pass through...  although I'm getting ready to make my own seat belt since the ones in the stores can be NASTY.
