I swear, this was the WORST quilt book EVER...it took like 30 some pages to explain how to do the 9-patch!!!!  Shocked

After the first 20 some pages, my mom and I gave up and were just winging it cuz the book was that dumb...we sort of want to burn the book now  Grin

You managed very well in spite of the poor instructions!!  The quilt looks very professional & I am sure your mother in law will love it... and appreciate the effort involved in making it for her.
