Hey everyone! I'm new to this site, but everyone on here does amazing work. I'm definately impressed.

I want to make two tops, but I couldn't find a base pattern in the tutorial list so I figured I could ask. I hope I'm posting this in the right place if not please let me know where I should move it to.

So here are the tops I wanted to make:

What type of material would you recommened to use for each to achieve those looks?

Not to rain on your parade, but the bottom bit is a knit-esque thing, so it might be hard to recreate.

The henley jersey, though... you can make a pattern from a long sleeve shirt that you have (by turning it inside out and tracing the seams) and sew it a fabric similar to that.  I haven't seen a store bought pattern like that, though.
