Anybody ready to knit along?
I just bought the pattern today, and am looking at knitpicks for the yarn.  I want to do it in almost the same colours as Eunny, but I'm looking at maybe a darker contrast colour... I don't know.

That pattern is gorgeous! (and totally beyond my meager skill set) so I will watch your knitalong as a spectator.

I just ordered the yarn for this project from Knitpicks- a dark pink and light pink, Merino Style. I'm thinking about doing it for the Knitting Olympics, if I get it in time.

Isn't this a gorgeous pattern?

Heh heh.  Whee!  I'm really excited about this Smiley

This was my first time writing a pattern out for sale, so I'm really nervous that I missed something while proofing.  I'll be watching to step in and offer clarifications/help/corrections whenever necessary - no pride of ownership here.

Happy knitting, everyone!

thanks Eunny!  I just ordered my yarn from knitpicks:  Merino Style in Hollyberry and Nutmeg.  All this was around forty bucks Canadian.  Add the pattern:  around six.  This is a very affordable project!

That sounds pretty. I ordered Hollyberry as well, along with Petal. I'm a little nervous the colors won't match, but I really wanted to do the light pink/ dark pink contrast.... colors you wouldn't expect in an arglye vest.

Eunny,  I'm glad you'll be around to help!

I was looking for a KAL for days!
Bought the yarn last weekend, RYC Cashsoft DK in Poison and Sweet. It's dark magenta and very pale pink.
This is a very expensive project for me, but it's my first ever big colourwork project, so I want it to be perfect Wink

I can't even bring myself to start swatching, I'm scared!

LOVE the vest and thanks to this board, I just bought the pattern.  Now I need to look for yarn...I am anxious to hear all the yarn choices for this pattern.  I am so in for a knit-a-long.

I bought Falk Dalegarn (in black and white)for this and didn't like how it knitted up at 22sts. Instead I'm going to go up a size and use a smaller needle and I think this should work. It's my first fairisle knit and I'm attempting it for the olympics.

By a miraculous convenience, I've got enough Knitpicks Merino Style in Hollyberry and Nutmeg to knit up this vest. I've had it for ages - what a great stashbuster project!

This will be my first time working with Fair Isle or steeks. Exciting!
