Hey, I just visited a fantastic new store on Harrison Avenue today called "The Drop Stitch."
It's behind the Caspian Cafe, for anyone who knows where that is.
The lady who owns the store is really nice, and the yarn there is gorgeous, and really reasonably priced.

also, are there any craftsters here from the Bay/Walton/Okaloosa area?

I adore SRB.  I worked for ResortQuest for about 9 months renting condos and beach houses, and that was the first time I'd actually gone down into the area.  It is sooooo beautiful there....unlike Hillybilly Central AKA Crestview LOL.
I'll keep my eyes open for other crafty spots around here, FWB, and Destin to share with you.
I'm actually going down to FWB tomorrow to check out the AC Moore craft store.  I've heard it's similar to Michaels and Hobby Lobby.  I'm going to buy some beads and wire to play around with before I spend money on the good stuff.
