i started to make the yarn to do this like in October, and I've had so many other projects that I never got to it. But of course now I have like a huuuuge amount of plastic bags because co-workers brought them to me and also I never throw my own away. So.. someday I'll get to it.

I made one of these a while back, it's not nearly as good as yours!  The solution, of course, is for me to make another one.  Yours is so great!

Well, boredom led me to this...

I crocheted it out of some cheap black and white plastic trash bags from the dollar store.  The little red bow is the handle part from the white bags.  I am going to fill it with gardening tools and supplies and gift it to my mom Smiley

Though this project is knitted, there's an excellent tutorial on how to cut plastic bags into one long continuous strip.  Then you tie the strips together with square knots, and hide the ends as you crochet.

oh - IrishQueen - that came out fantastic!
Well done Cheesy

I actually had to bind mine down a little (reduce the height) - with all my gym stuff in the bag it stretched horribly!
lol - it's a huge bag, but I can throw *everything* in there Cheesy
