Bleached Photo Box

i'm too tired to get all my stuff out tonight, but the next thing i want to try is putting the bleach solution in a spray bottle and spraying the photo instead of immersing it...if it's successful, i'll post the result!

Here are some of my latest attempts. 

On the one with the trees, I used a spray bottle lightly, but then just let it all drip on the letters.
On the one that says stars, I dipped a paintbrush in the bleach solution and went at it.
On the one that says Shine, I sprayed it with the spray bottle, more heavily on the letters, but then I dabbed it all with a paper towel.

Whoa!  That is soo cool!  I love the trees one, it looks like they are on fire!  I've gotta try this one.

Another altered film thing to do, which I discovered totally by accident: toss an undeveloped roll of film into the wash with your clothes. Then print the pictures normally. Whoa, does that ever do some weird things.

You know you can do this with those new clorox "pens", too.  You can draw the design directly on then rinse off.

I can't wait to do this!  I've already picked out a bunch of photos and now I just need to run to the dollar store tonight to pick up some cheap bleach and a spray bottle!  This is going to be my weekend project.

Wow, neat! I can think of a lot of fun stuff to do with photos altered like this. Thanks for telling us how to do it.
