So I just found out about bleaching photos and I'm an addict.  I love it so much.  I've been doing 50/50 water and bleach but the bleach acts so quickly I think I'm going to start doing a little less of it next round.  This is a bleached photo I did for the lid of one of the boxes on my site, www.BoxieLady.com:

This was done with a photo of a disco ball.  I put some stickers on before I put the picture in the bleach solution to spell out "Glow" and to add some stars.

How do you do that? I might have to try. Do you have pics of your others?

That's the only picture I have up so far, but I've had some really cool results that will be up soon!

You need:
*A Shallow Tray
*Bleach
*Water
*An Old Photo (has to be developed, can't be printed out)
*Stickers
*Tongs

Put a 50/50 solution of bleach and water in the shallow tray.
Use stickers to decorate the photo where you don't want the bleach to affect it.
Dip the Photo into the solution using the tongs, and remove it very quickly.
Set the photo on some paper towels or newspaper to dry (takes a while).
Depending on the colors in your photo and how long you leave it in the tray, you can get some really cool effects!

I haven't tried it on any black and white photos yet, so I'm not sure about that.  It would be interesting to see!

Neat idea. I like the way that the photo has turned an orangey colour and looks as if it glows- fits well with the stickers saying glow.
