I finally finished this teddy bear that I started a year and a half ago! yay me Grin
well, problem is that when I started on this guy, I didn't know how to crochet 3-D stuff... this is my first "real" crochet project, and I learned a lot from it Smiley
so, as you can see, the body, left arm and the head are done like a good old scarf.
but I don't care since it came out nice all the same! hehe

a more photoshoped version:

what do you think?

thanks, as a matter of fact he's been kidnapped by my grandma as soon as the eyes were in place. so he's sitting in her room now^ ^

think I'll call him Jake... reminds me of a hyper 5-year-old kid running around the house Grin

Jack reminds me of the original Winnie the Pooh.  The one from the books before Disney took over.  Great job.  I love this bear Smiley Cool.

that's so cute! i love that he looks like the old-fashioned kind of teddy bear. did you make it up as you went or did you use a pattern? (i would love to make something like this for all the zillion babies my friends keep having...)

"But why don't you scream now?" Alice asked, holding her hands ready to put over her ears again.

"Why, I've done all the screaming already," said the Queen. "What would be the good of having it all over again?"

i used a pattern that my Spanish teacher copied for us 2 years ago... we were supposed to make these bears for Warm Up America, but turned out that nobody knew how to crochet, so she had to teach us how to make the very basic scarf.
if you want it, send me an email to hyuni8812@yahoo.com Grin
