www.burningplanet.com/happycactus

For now it's on my friend's webspace, but if some stuff that I'm selling at a local gallery goes well, I'll purchase my own.

I would love your opinions on layout, ecommerce, and how much I should charge or a good system to use to figure out what to charge.

Thanks!

I like the simple design of it, although I might go with a western/desert look instead of fire-y.  Also, I had to click on the globe-icon-link under your name because the text one didn't work.  But that could very well be my browser.

your art is really cool! suggestions: please edit your original post so the link works! i had to delete the "the" after clicking on it! and, when you get your own domain, is it going to be "happy cactus" or "the happy cactus"? your logo should be the same as in the url so as not to confuse people. keep up the good work!

Yeah, funny story about the domain name thing...

My boyfriend bought me the name last year, www.thehappycactus.com because www.happycactus.com was taken by some gawdawful southwestern tacky-ass curio shop. Look at it if you dare. Yuck.

But, thanks for your opinions, keep em coming!

Looks great! Is the muraled room (with jungle) your office? I love it! The only thing I'd suggest is making the main section a touch bigger.

First, I think you should keep your stuff exclusively murals, and second give some pricing information. People can then get an idea of how long it might take you based on information on what you charged on past jobs. A friend of mine charges by the square foot with a minimum, so she doesn't waste her time on small jobs. She also charges more for if the ceiling height is extra tall.

I'm sort of with supah- I would offer a bit more information, and maybe divide your gallery into the different mediums you are showing. What is it you want the viewer to walk away with? What are you trying to achieve? Commissions? Wholesale orders?
I like the curtain rods...
The pictures are really good too...!
