True, and yet not all digital art starts from a photograph. I wish I could do painting with tablets and things like that. Admittedly, I still photoshop with a mouse  Embarrassed

Same here! Tablets are expensive when you're unemployed!
And you're right by the way, not all digital art starts with a photo, that was merely my own introduction to Photoshop, hence my biased view lol Cheesy
I would love to see your work Smiley

I don't do digital painting, I mostly use photoshop for retouching and enhancing. I'll post some links to a friend of mine's deviant art who does it. One minute, gotta find it.

This is the girl I did a collaboration painting with, {you can see the project on my profile page).

But her deviant art contains all kinds of stuff she's done. The one titled, "The Name's Bond..." is pure digital art. Black and white too, super cool.

(Can you tell I'm proud of her? Wink)

I also vote for a photography board! It deserves its own place.

I searched all over, and didn't see one - but I'd love to see a photography board where we could post new techniques we are working on and get comments/critiques on photos we've taken.  I've recently "re-discovered" my SLR in attempt to make the pictures I take of my crafts look better (because when all you've got is your camera for sharing your work, you want to make it look its best!), and in the process have fallen in love with photography all over again, and I'm trying to learn as much as possible.  I think a board to share and learn from would be awesome!
