Ability to resort board by thread start dates

this isn't really a suggestion for a new board, but i really don't know exactly where to put this so here it is lol. 

i think it would be a good idea to sort posts by the start date.  that way, when you log on you could see the posts that were made while you were gone in a particular board (instead of just the ones that were posted in last).  could be pretty useful, especially if you don't have time to sift through the boards.

I am not shure maybe this function exist but how can I sort threads by date when they were started to view the most recent threads first. I found options "Subject", "Started by", "Replies", "Views", "Last post" and no something like "Thread start". IMHO it should be very useful to know what new threads appeared from last visit. If it exists, cold you direct me please

Unfortunately that's one of the few ways that you CAN'T easily sort.    I can't think of any way to tell just from the list of threads.

I think that with as many members that craftster has, there should be an option of resorting a thread by the date the topics were started. Currently with it being sorting by recent posts on any thread, topics are seeming to get lost.. even if you check that thread daily, the new topics might/will get missed.

What does anyone think about this?

We actually used to have that feature, but it was requested to have the current option available instead.  It seemed like the other feature wasn't used very often.

You can also set up your notifications so you get an email every time there is a new thread. That way you definitely won't miss any.
