I was just thinking... after reading the other posts here maybe we should all get togeather and open up a website to sell our crafts...

Now before I go further, let me say hello- I'm Lorelei, I live in Minot, I'm 20 and in the AF. I mainly sew costumes and clothes, but have recently fallen in love with making tote bags and acsessories and single peices of clothing- instead fo whole outfits, or costumes- and I saw others saying there no place to sell our wares, cuze yeah the craft fairs here are mostly older people who just dont groove on totes with condom pockets, or iPod cozys, or cool Messenger bags. So I was thinking, what if we all talked, and maybe we could put up a single website that features everyone goods, sort of a "Support cool, young, hip, Nodak crafters thing..." IDK it was just an idea... I'm just trying to get in touch with other crafters that aren't the old ladies I meet in the fabric store. LOL.

Much love and Aloha

Woohoo! Another craftster from minot! That's where I live too.

As far as a website for all of us north dakotians, it sounds like a cool idea, but I know I don't have money enough to create things in bulk.  Most things I make are either for family, friends or myself. Sad

But anyway, I just thought I'd say hello. Smiley

I do personal swaps.

I'm in Minot, too! Hubby is AF and we live off base. I have been desperately trying to get my soap and candles together enough to sale them, but the job has been cutting in to my craft time.

That sounds wonderful, but sadly I'm leaving next month for college. Sad  If/When I move back, I'd love to do this! <3
