so freaking cute!!!

I would love to hear more about how you did the papier mache base! 

I started the base by making a form with lots and lots of crumpled newspaper and masking tape to hold it together. (I wish i would have thought to take a picture then...)  I then covered her with 4 layers of newspaper papier mache to make a solid base to work with.  Once that was complete, I covered her with 2 layers of brown bag papier mache to give her extra strength and make the surface smooth.  I think in all it took about 7 days to make the base itself.  Fun! but lots of work.   Smiley

I love your papier mache self. I've never beeen able to make any thing out of papier mache that looked even close to presentable, and yours is so well done.  Thanks for sharing this with us.
