I think a hair barrette swap would be neat.  I have shorter hair I so I use clips and stuff but so does people with long hair.  They can be realyl pretty and fairly easy depending on what you want to do. Plus, they're fairly compact and light so not too much postage issues.  What do ya think?

I make hair clips with hanging beads. Would that count as a barrette?  I would like to participate if possible.

I'd do it, I love barrettes and I have tons of them lying around. Why don't we do like three pairs (or three larger size ones)? Someone organize! ^.^

i'd love to participate, i make clay and felt and beaded barrettes, itd be cool to make a few different kinds....or if anyone really wanted to organize and would be up for this:
we could all make three and send them to the organizer who would then send back 3 different ones to every person, so there would be a cool variety. i'd be up for the swap either way, i could maaaybe organize too if no on eelse wants to. =)
lets get this up and running, im getting excited =)

=) I've never joined a swap.   Would people like to mail me sets of hair jewlery (eiitehr 1, 2 , or 3) I would re package & mail the same amount back to them?  Send me the stuff with a little card with your info (1 card for each set or piece).

Lets say make it barettes, hair clips, head bands any hair jewley. I'll look & see what size padded mailes I have I think they are 5 x 8 , so they would have to fit in those.  What do oyu think??

by the way i like the idea of sending 3 to the organizer who then sends 3 different ones back to everyone. that would be fun

I think pretty much anything for hair could work.  Maybe as part of the information we send in to whoever organizes (please, someone organize!) this is the length of our hair.  That way people with short hair don't end up with scrunchies, etc.  I think hair combs would be pretty.
