You've inspired me to put my own spin on this, so THANK YOU.  I didn't have a yard stick, but I did have ribbon.  I had a game board I wanted to make into a shelf, but no brackets.  So I combined the two ideas, and made a shelf anyway. I wouldn't have thought of it without the yard shelf, so thanks again.  I finally have nice storage for the little figures that sit in my bathroom.

I only put it up tonight, so I'll report if this fails.

This is so neat! I didn't know what to do with mine. I don't use it too much, I use my measuring tape.

Great job! Cheesy

OMG!  how toally awesome and simple!  thank you craftster goddess for putting it featured items links.

my daughter has started a collection of teaspoons from vacation spots and we were looking for an easy way to display them without putting up a case or a bunch of holes.

a bit of poster tack gummy stuff should keep the spoons steadyyardstick.  i am so going out to pick up a yardstick right now.

That is great! It would be really handy around holiday time too, for displaying cards and what not. Very snazzy.
