Hey aryn. This is nothing to do with the craft exchange. But that picture in your post? That's a very cool lookin' necklace there. Did you make it? Has there been a post up about that necklace? Tutorial? Sorry. I always get distracted by any piece of cool lookin' jewellry.  Roll Eyes I just had a thought! (Yes! Miracles do happen!) Let's think big!!! We should aim really high and at some point have a great big old Craftster Jamboree!!! Yee-haw! We could pick a central location...meet up...and exchange stuff in person! Whad'ya say, gang? Leah?
YEeee-haaa! I'm in!

ok, well, artisans it is!  Is anyone intrested in
"The Fabric Shuffle"  It would be similar to the Stash Redistribution listed above...

I've been to that Artisan's Exchange Site before, I was going to mention them, but I thought they had started charging a membership fee. Looks like they aren't.

I'd definitely be interested in a Fabric Shuffle. Aspenwall, were you planning to organize something on Artisan's Exchange or someplace? If you do let us know! Otherwise, I might humbly volunteer myself to run one. Wink

Another thing I think would be fun would be a Supply Box Challenge - everyone puts together a box of stuff, and sends it to someone else, who crafts something out of it, and sends the final craft back to the box-putter-togetherer.

i think if you guys really wanted to do this and make it fun over here - you should just post a pic of something you are willing to trade and then someone can post a pic of their stuff and you could link up...

I just signed up for the Artisans' exchange and it's actually not so great right now. Not very many active people, so not a lot of trading or anything going on. So maybe if you all joined, it would get going!
i just joined!  lets get some circulation going over there-looks a bit pale Sad

Is anyone pursuing this through craftster? Or just artisan's exchange? (I'm preferring craftster, I think it's easier to communicate here.)

It sounds fun but I wonder if maybe it would be better to go over to "Artisans Exchange" for this because they're all set up just for this purpose:

so, i'm thinking that, since it would be leah's job
to moderate all this exchanging (and i'm sure she's busy enough!), why not just go with her suggestion?  it only takes a minute to register, and if everyone here who's interested signs up, well, then we're good to go, right?
