Hey guys and gals...today one of my friends asked me how much it would cost them if i made their mom a scarf...i know that i need to charge her for the cost of supplies, but how much extra should i tack on for time/labor??? please leave your suggestions here! Smiley thanks!!!

i'd charge supplies @cost + labour @ amount of time you spent@ reg min wage.

Here in canada it's 7.45/h

What I do is charge by the yard, since I tend to work on things in fits and starts. For me, it's supplies + $0.25 a yard Smiley This brings your average 100-yard hat to supplies + $25

That's really cool... I've never seen a pricing way like that, I may try that. I'm starting to sell a few things and originally I simply did supplied x2, but that doesn't amount to much if I make something smaller.
