Has anyone checked out this book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1579906109/ref=wl_it_dp/102-9851730-3506510?%5Fencoding=UTF8&colid=2BCDU8E7VSHDI&coliid=IOQXXYRDV4H69&v=glance&n=283155?

I'm interested in buying it, but I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on it. I checked and my library doesn't have it either. Poo. I'm pretty novice at sewing so I'm looking for more of an instructional book than an idea book.

I bought it on Amazon.  It seems to have plenty of ideas as well as instructions.  Mostly, though....the writer gives the readers basic components and encourages them to come up with their own creations using them.

If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular?

It's awesome. Got mine at Barnes and Noble, the book seems to be getting more popular -- you can find it in a big store now....I love his website, too (the author's).

i got the book for xmas, and i'd agree that it has a great mix of instructions and ideas.  he even tells you how to pin properly and how to fix your mistakes and work out tricky areas.
