only she's a lot smaller! and really, there's no parents involved... okay, so it's actually nothing like the parent trap.

anyway. i decided to make my twin a plushie because a) i don't happen to have any barbies laying around and b) i like making plushies. i noticed this challenge around ten last night and whipped this little baby out in a couple hours. she might just be your average 2D plushie, but i'm fond of her. she's made of fleece, ployfil and an old t-shirt.

she's features the black hoodie i've taken to wearing a lot lately.

a detail of the face, which was drawn on with marker because i lacked the foresight to embroider it on earlier. her hair isn't quite my color, but it's not really red and not quite brown, much like my own hair.

her skirt is a scrap from some fabric that i plan on making into a skirt for big myself this weekend.

her shoes are supposed to look like my favorite ballet flats.

aaaand the two of us together. omg you can hardly tell us apart? i totally know.

Oh, you adorable dolls!
On MY computer screen your hair looks just like MINE, TOO (in my younger days), but there was no doubt mine was red (auburn, actually), especially in the bright sunlight. Yours is red (auburn), sweetums.

Didn't little old ladies stop you in the grocery store when you were a tot and ask, "Where'd you get that beautiful red hair, my dear?"?

Wear it proudly!!
There should be a redhead pride swap coming up really soon, I think.

It takes a lot of talent to make a cartoonish representation of yourself.  I'm very impressed by how much she really looks like you.  Nice work.
