i made these armwarmers over the christmas holidays ... they helped me pass time on the very long journey home from london to new zealand (i was so glad i was allowed to knit on the plane!)







the pattern is here:  http://www.straw.com/cpy/patterns/mikado-gloves.html, although i changed the cable a bit and made some slight adjustments to make them snugger on my skinny runty arms  Smiley  the yarn is from a sweater i bought for 1 at a car boot sale and unravelled - the label said 100% wool but that's all i know about it.

now i'm back in london, and it's cold, and i am LOVING them!  thanks for looking!

Those are really great.  I have been wanting to make those but don't think i have the patience.  i commend you but don't envy you as it is warm where I am so i wouldn't use those much.  Great Job  Grin

Those look great! I love how long they are and your cable alteration was a great choice. This seems like a perfect plane ride knitting project!
