I had a bunch of white t-shirts that my mom got on sale at the grocery store, but were far too big to wear as-is.  So I took some dye that I've had lying around for about 6 years and dyed 2 of the shirts turquoise; then I made two tank tops out of them, inspired by wordtoashley's shirt:http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=26566.0
This was the first one I made:

the straps are braided:

later on, I decided to stencil a lotus onto it:

Then, I made this one for a friend:

Hooray for my new camera!

Cute shirts, I wish I could make ones like that, but the tut is down on the original posters shirt, man....  Undecided

But anyways... awesome use of dye, I love dying things, I should go and pick up some dye now, hehehe, I love the turqouise color.
