we should each get more than that because there are so many people! the 5 was just an example i think, and since we can send 2-5 then it could vary.  but your math is right Smiley its going to be ALOT! Cheesy

isn't everyone sending recepies to everyone ? when we find out how many people have signed up we should decide how many we'll send - like if there are tonnes of people maybe we'll only send 2 to everyone, but if there are millions signed up we'll send closer to 5 to everyone?

Ohhh.. wait a minute then, I definitely need a clarification on that one because I was under the impression that we were being set up in small groups of 5 and we chose to send between 2-5 recipes to each of those people and one box to one of those 5... like the example. If we have to send a recipe to every person who signs up I'm going to have to un-signup because there's no way I could afford that. It's a bit much.

i'm thinking postage is going to get a bit expensive to send everything to everyone, as well jMi.
maybe one way around this is to send physical cards only to our group or partner, but make electronic versions available to everyone to print out and cut apart themselves?  i had also suggested sending all recipes to one address with a self-addressed and stamped envelope--maybe one of those flatrate thingies?--that would hold all the cards and then someone would have to sort them so everyone gets some of everything...but that's a lot of collating.
can we see a list of how many people have actually signed up at this point?  maybe we're getting concerned about nothing. Smiley

I like the idea of the electronic recipe cards since I was already planning on doing mine online and printing them on 3x5 cards Smiley

Also- my other big concern was that it's mandatory to send overseas--- that will REALLY add up if there are 30+ members. Heck, if there are even over 10 members.
I think this should be organized more like the bookmark swap where the swapee chooses how many people they want to swap with, that way people who can afford to send to more can and those of us who can't can only send to like 5 (like me). That's definitely how I assumed this was

I also think you need to be posting the members who sign up as they sign up. We need to know how many people are signed up before we can decide if there are too many to send to. I also think maybe you should post their country next to their user name so we can see how many out of the country people we have since it's mandatory.

hmm...i kind of like the idea of them being emailed to the others too... then there are lots of personal options.  haha, i was having visions last night of addressing a million envelopes and putting stamps on them and shoving htem in my mailbox Tongue i think my postal carrier would think this house is nuts caus my boyfriend trades music (legally) and sometimes has 5 or 6 giant envelopes of music she has to shove in there Tongue hahaha, poor lady!
